Business Unit Electrosystem

As of September 2009, Business Unit Rimaster Electrosystem offers the joint resources of the four Rimaster units that historically focuses on production of electrical systems and subassemblies; Rimaster Rimforsa, Rimaster Söderhamn, Rimaster Czaplinek (Poland) and Rimaster Ningbo (China). The new company has today  about 320 employees, making it the Rimaster Group’s largest business unit. 

Today’s production is characterised by a high degree of product variation, and low volumes on individual items.

With no less than 8,000 active products, unprecedented demands are placed on speed, control and efficiency, thus ensuring that Rimaster lives up to the motto ”High mix – Low volume” every working day.

Major business include manufacture of electrical systems, cable harnesses, electrical cabinets, box building and assembly of systems for external customers i.e. panelling for driver cabs and cabs for specialized vehicles.
